Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop northwest of an Eastland to Sherman line through noon. Some severe storms will be possible with large hail and damaging winds. Most other storms late this morning will produce periods of moderate to heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning. A line of thunderstorms is expected to accompany a cold front this afternoon. These storms should organize into a line as they move southeast across north Texas. Damaging Straight line winds and large hail will be the primary Hazards. All storms should exit north Texas by early evening.
