At 6:15 PM...Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms extending across southeast Osage...eastern Pawnee and northern creek counties. Additional scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms were ongoing over far northeast Oklahoma. All of this activity was lifting northeast at around 40 mph. Through 7:30 PM...showers and thunderstorms will be increasing in coverage across areas of eastern Oklahoma...primarily west of a Talala to Okemah line. Strong to severe thunderstorms are likely with this activity...with all modes of severe weather possible. Residents are urged to remain alert for rapidly changing weather conditions and be prepared to take immediate action. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will also continue over far northeast Oklahoma into the far northwest corner of Arkansas. This activity will primarily consist of light to moderate showers... Resulting in average rainfall of one tenth of an inch or less.
