At 4:57 PM... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an isolated thunderstorm having rapidly developed... Only to have weakened rapidly. The residual showers were moving northeast at around 25 mph... Across east central Oklahoma. Through 6:30 PM...isolated short lived showers or thunderstorms could occur throughout eastern Oklahoma or western Arkansas. Any thunderstorms will have the potential to produce a period of brief heavy rainfall and a strong gusty wind. The potential for thunderstorm development is expected to decrease as daytime heating is lost.
