Through 7 PM...an area of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will continue to move east northeast out of Oklahoma and Arkansas and into portions of extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks along and south of the highway 60 corridor. Light rainfall can be expected with this activity with hourly rainfall rates up to one tenth of an inch. An occasional cloud to ground lightning strike and a brief downpour of rain can be expected with any embedded thunderstorms.
