A collision of the east and west coast sea breezes will occur over Lake County between 5 and 7 PM. Although quite a bit of debris high cloudiness has overspread Lake County...strong heating has occurred over the interior counties with temperatures near 90. Given the cold temperatures aloft...a few strong storms seem inevitable especially associated with the sea breeze collision. Gusty winds up to 50 mph and hail can be expected in the stronger storms. An isolated severe storm containing large hail and damaging winds near 60 mph will be possible over Lake County and adjacent portions of interior Volusia...Seminole and western Orange counties. Storm motion will be slow and erratic because of very weak steering flow. This will promote heavy rainfall accumulating up to 3 inches locally in an hour or two...causing temporary flooding of some roads and low lying areas.
