At 928 PM edt...Doppler radar detected a line of thunderstorms. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles north of Madison to 6 miles north of free Union to 10 miles south of Charlottesville...moving east at 20 mph. Locations that likely will be impacted include Charlottesville... Madison...Culpeper...Orange and bealeton. Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring. Move indoors until the storm has passed. Gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph can be expected. Heavy downpours could reduce visibilities and cause water to pond on roadways. Additional rainfall up to one-half inch can be expected.
